2025 2026 Supergroms (plus Social) Memberships are open! For event organisation and insurance purposes all participants must sign up through our website store by October 7th (no exceptions). Children will not be able to collect a rashvest and will not be able to participate if they are not on the list prior to the event even if they were members last season. All signed up Supergroms will receive an official PIBC Supergroms 2025 2026 membership card at the first Supergroms session with their name on it to make check in easier. Places are strictly limited for safety reasons so get in quick. To contact the Supergroms committee please email contact@pibc.com.au.

NOTE: We will not be using google forms this season.

Supergroms Membership gives you access to all five Supergroms events, presentation afternoons, PIBC social events, the club newsletter plus a final participation medal.

One Supergroms membership includes a Social Membership for the parent/guardian who signs the child up via our website store. https://pibc.com.au/store

IT’S ALL ABOUT HAVING A GO, AND HAVING FUN!

There is no minimum skill level or experience required to participate. Some children are developing confidence in the water, some are learning new skills, and some are getting ready to compete. But everyone finishes the season with a few new friends, some great memories, and a real sense of belonging within the Phillip Island Boardriders Club.

In fact, a great number of current senior and open surfers at PIBC started in the Supergroms program! It’s the first step in getting the surfing kids of Phillip Island, comfortable in the water and having fun.

Our Supergroms Program requires varying levels of parental involvement, depending on the child’s skill level. Parents are the backbone of the program, and we love seeing everyone rally together in the water and at the presentation afternoons.

SUPERGROMS COACHING

PIBC Supergroms receive invaluable group surf coaching from the experienced coaches of Island Surfboards. This is fully funded by Phillip Island Boardriders Club as a strategic investment into the development of future PIBC surfers. It is also expected that parents/guardians will actively participate in and out of the water assisting the coaches in their child’s surfing progress. FYI: Most (if not all) Supergroms programs around Australia do not have professional coaches but are run entirely by parent volunteers. Go PIBC!

  • For safety and insurance reasons, participants who have not completed membership and registration before the event, will not be allowed to participate on the day.
